John C. Clements, AIA

Known for his innate ability to listen and connect to the crux of his clients' programmatic needs, John Clements has seen his thoroughness and attention to detail rewarded by continuing relationships with clients long after their projects are completed. John has lived in El Salvador, Guatemala City, Caracas, and Monterrey, Mexico, before attending the University of Notre Dame. While at Notre Dame, he had the opportunity to expand his cultural studies by attending a year of directed courses in classical architecture in Rome before earning his degree in architecture in 1984. He began his professional career with Guy Jackson, Jeffrey Ryan and Martha Seng at Morris Architects and joined them when they began the new firm. John is fluent in Spanish. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects and the Texas Society of Architects, and he maintains an NCARB certification. John is an active members of his parish. Through his experience as Chairman of the Pastoral Council, John gained insight into the needs and strengths of community work.
