St. Theresa Catholic School Library
Sugar Land, Texas

The St. Theresa Catholic School Library is the featured component of this new Renaissance style Catholic school, which serves children in kindergarten to fifth grade. Surrounded by mahogany shelves, paneling and cornice detailing, this library presents a classical and graceful environment, stressing the importance of studious pursuits. The vaulted ceiling and indirect pendant lighting add to this ambiance. The library contains a main reading room, a conference room, a library staff administration area, a controlled checkout station and a media room. Support for Information Technology is located throughout the space.

The library was designed in association with Duncan G. Stroik Architect.
