The Whole Life Service Center will provide community support and ongoing education for people in the neighborhood and surrounding areas. Not only will after school care be offered for elementary age children, there will adult education and vocational classes, as well as programs for families.
A 6,000 square foot general wellness clinic serving women and children will be part of this facility, consisting of 12 medical exam rooms and 3 separate waiting and check-in stations. It will also include staff support areas and offices, which will allow it to become the main administration headquarters for the Spring Branch Community Health Center. These support areas include offices, storage rooms, nurses work stations, eligibility interview stations, a laboratory, staff break room and both staff and patient restrooms.
This is the third project that Jackson & Ryan Architects is completing for The Women’s Home, the organization that strives to provide good health, support and stability for this growing community.
